Ethics

My research on organizational ethics and integrity has focused on how to judge a corporate or public leader’s integrity (Six et al, 2007; Six and Huberts, 2008) and integrity systems, both national, local and in banking (Huberts et al, 2008, book and chapters; Huberts & Six, 2012; Six et al 2012; Six & Lawton, 2013; Huberts et al, 2014).

I also studied trust and ethical leadership (van den Akker et al, 2009) and ethical audit (Lawton et al, 2010).

The theorizing about integrity systems has inspired some of my thinking on regulation. Much research into ethical violations or ethical decision making studies violations of regulation and compliance decisions.
